Why did you choose Wagner for graduate school?

I chose Wagner primarily because the Executive Master of Public Administration (EMPA) program was career focused and tailored for individual needs. It offered an enticing combination of policy training and management with a focus on leadership training.

How would you describe your experience as a Wagner student?

Brilliant. I learnt so much not only from great professors and excellent guest lecturers who are well regarded in their fields, but also from the students themselves who came to the program with a wide range of career and management experience. Engaging in discussion with EMPA students and using their experiences to re-think solutions to challenges I had faced was incredibly valuable. Wagner encouraged networking opportunities and allowed me to make an extensive range of connections through the Wagner network.

What are the advantages of the Wagner alumni network?

The alumni network provides ongoing and far-reaching links to relevant subject areas, people and job opportunities. Staying connected to the areas of study that relate to your current career and future career aspirations is incredibly useful. Tapping into the network allows you to stay up-to-date on things like policy initiatives and management practices, and offers involvement in discussions and exposure to experts.
