Miriam Surdin

Can you tell us a bit about your job responsibilities?

I oversee and manage 10 of our domestic chapters. I work directly with our cardiology and cardiovascular team members on developing events, professional development, and networking opportunities. Additionally, I manage all of their respective finances, websites, board of trustees, etc.

What were you doing before you came to NYU Wagner?

I worked in the youth department of the Union for Reform Judaism providing social justice summer program opportunities to teenagers. Additionally, I acted as a Regional Advisor for the North American Federation of Temple Youth.

What else have you been up to since graduating?

Since Wagner, I have also obtained my CAE (Certified Association Executive Certification).
