Why did you choose Wagner for graduate school?

As a Ford Foundation International Fellow, I had the opportunity to study anywhere in the world. While searching for the right graduate school, I saw many great options.  But I needed a global-minded school, and the only choice was NYU Wagner.  NYU is a global school, in a global city, with a network spread across the world.  I just loved it.

How would you describe your experience as a Wagner student?

Such an exciting experience that I hope to have the opportunity to return for my PhD! While at Wagner, I took advantage of virtually all of the international development events offered by the Wagner Office of International Programs, as well as other student-led events that aligned with my professional career track.  And as President of the Wagner Student Association for Africa, I was particularly interested in framing the story from the Africa perspective.

Describe your current job.

At the Abuja-Nigeria office of the International Republican Institute (IRI), I lead the design of training programs and materials and implementation of IRI’s political party strengthening program.  I also participate in the planning, development, design, management and evaluation of IRI program activities and projects.
