How would you describe your experience as an NYU Wagner student?

It was a great experience--it gave me access to top education, new quantitative skills, and a new vision of a global and competitive environment. Being in New York City was one of the most important parts of my experience. NYC gives you a different perspective on the world, new ambitions, and a network that no other city can.

Can you tell us a bit about your job responsibilities?

Leading a team of 20+, we conceptualized and developed the NDP, a national-scale public platform based on open and standardized data from strategic government sectors. The first of its kind, set to generate intelligence and revolutionize the fight against corruption.

I’m also in charge of the strategy, outreach, and execution of the NDP at the local, national, and international level. I’m the liaison to federal, local and international governments, civil society, and multilateral organizations to promote standardization and adoption of the NDP.

I launched the beta 0.7 version with data in 4/6 systems in Sept. 2020 and promoted strategic partnerships with: WB, IDB, USAID, UK. We fundraised MXN+50 million. NDP was awarded 2nd place in the 2020 LatAm Awards for Best Project in Digital Transformation. It has been considered an international best practice by the UK's Digital Buying Guide and the OECD.

How did your experiences at NYU Wagner prepare you for your career?

It complimented my education and gave me new tools and confidence to face the current challenges. It also gave me an edge over the competition with a top school degree. Finally, it gave me the opportunity to live in the most ambitious and interesting city in the world.
