Why did you choose NYU Wagner for graduate school?
I was looking for a graduate program that would provide enriching experiences both inside and outside of the classroom. I knew that NYU Wagner was uniquely positioned to teach both the academic work and the practical lessons I would need to be successful as a healthcare executive.
How would you describe your experience as an NYU Wagner student?
I was lucky enough to work for NYU Wagner, as a graduate assistant and then a research assistant, and the program became like a second home to me. An exciting project that I worked on during my first year involved a curriculum review, and we put together an amazing group of NYC healthcare leaders to help us define what the jobs of the future might look like and what skills and competencies would be needed. Very cool!
Have you found any advantages to being a part of the NYU Wagner alumni network?
I continue to cross paths with NYU Wagner grads regularly and I get a kick out of it every time. One thing is for sure, Wagner grads are doing amazing things!
How did your experiences at NYU Wagner prepare you for your career?
Even after all this time, I continue to draw on the expertise my NYU Wagner professors shared with me on important topics such as Human Resources, Finance, and the management of Health Service Organizations.
