Why did you choose Wagner for graduate school?

I chose NYU Wagner because of its reputation.  After looking at the course offerings, I determined they were relevant to the evolving landscape of healthcare and would be beneficial to helping me excel within Northwell Health.  Located in New York City adjacent to several large world-class health systems, NYU Wagner employs faculty with real world experience and insight as hospital executive leaders.  This supplementary wisdom was particularly attractive to me.

How would you describe your experience as a Wagner student?

My experience at Wagner was outstanding.  The program not only delivered the content I was looking for, but also granted me the flexibility to work full-time and attend school full-time.  By doing this I was able to apply the concepts and theory I was learning to real projects and problems.  This synergy gave me the ability to have a greater impact and influence on the projects I was working on at the time.

Describe your current job.

In my current job, I work at North Shore University Hospital where I manage the facilities’ capital and operating budgets.  Additionally, I oversee the analytics of expense savings and revenue generating initiatives.  Lastly, I lead a project and analytics team that is charged with driving process redesign, project management and innovation and strategy development for the hospital and region.
