Why did you choose Wagner for graduate school?
Wagner's program stands out from other competitive programs in several aspects. The first is the depth of knowledge and experience the professors possess. They teach within the classroom but their lectures truly prepare you for the real world; they look to mentor you and so do the alumni. And being right in the heart of New York City provides professional opportunities that are hard to re-create anywhere else.
How would you describe your experience as a Wagner student?
My experience at Wagner was unparalleled and something I am eternally grateful for. It allowed me to see and understand the workplace from different perspectives and meet people who have guided me through difficult professional decisions. My relationships with professors and alumni are priceless and part of a network that is otherwise difficult to obtain.
How did your Wagner experience prepare you professionally for what you are doing today?
The culture of teamwork is something I carry with me in every professional endeavor and teach to others. Wagner's curriculum teaches you the facts you need to know about your specialty and gives you the skills you need in order to implement and lead. There is almost a universal distinctiveness of Wagner grads in the workplace; they adapt quickly to change and can perform remarkably well under stress.
