How did you find your first post-Wagner job?
Through my coursework, internships, and areas of interest I was seeking a role within international development and specifically impact investing. I spent the summer between my first and second year in Washington DC working with Accion International, which introduced me to a host of opportunities in the impact investing sector. In my final year at Wagner, I spent a lot of time exploring the impact investing space, working with career services, and doing market research—ultimately finding my current role at Arabella
How did your Wagner experience prepare you professionally for what you are doing today?
Coming in with a more traditional private sector background, Wagner provided a lens into the public and nonprofit sector. My coursework in international development, finance, and economics further supported this aim. My capstone project with the UN along with international coursework gave me a global perspective. Upon looking for jobs and now working full-time, I have been able to leverage my experiences at Wagner.
Describe your current job.
I am currently an Associate at Arabella Advisors working in its Impact Investing practice. The Impact Investing team works with corporations, institutional foundations, and family offices to help develop their impact investing strategy. The team also helps to complement their existing portfolios and program work, as well as source, structure, close, and monitor transactions.
