How would you describe your experience as an NYU Wagner student?

It was exceptional. NYU being located in the heart of New York provided me with not just professional development opportunities but many arenas for personal growth. NYU Wagner is home to a rich and experienced group of faculty and it was an amazing learning experience. The diversity and culture at Wagner is phenomenal and really adds to one's lifelong cultural experiences.

Can you tell us a bit about your job responsibilities?

I obtain and analyze data from a range of sources to prepare analyses of demographic, housing, and economic conditions; support staff in data collection, cleaning and quality control efforts; use GIS to analyze data and create illustrative maps; and summarize findings from research in written products and presentations.

What is your next move?

I am currently in the process of applying to PhD programs with an aspiration to pursue a PhD in City and Regional Planning. Based on my seven years of academic and professional experience in Urban Planning, I've developed interest in studying the gendered impacts of climate change and identify how data can assist developing countries in generating proactive gender sensitive policies.
