Why did you choose Wagner for graduate school? 

I chose Wagner because of the experiential education that is part of the MPA curriculum. I knew that I wanted to graduate not only with classroom experience but also with practical experience that I could immediately apply to my career.

 How did being in New York impact your professional journey? 

Being in New York afforded me nearly endless opportunities to gain experience in my field. I worked for an international development organization and was able to spend significant time leading a team in Afghanistan, an incredible and unique experience that I may not have found elsewhere.

Describe your current job.

After a decade working for education-focused, global nonprofits in a CFO role, I transitioned to consulting. Today I'm a CFO consultant for a handful of nonprofits and social enterprises. I help them with budgeting, cash flow forecasting, financial reporting, strategic planning, and accounting.
