Pan Asian Student Alliance is proud to host NYU Campus Safety for a training on bystander intervention and de-escalation. A recent poll found that nearly a third of Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders reported experiencing race-based harassment in 2023. If you've ever wondered what to do in a potentially unsafe situation or how to help someone else as a bystander, come join us for an empowering and engaging event. Learn how to defuse a potentially unsafe or difficult situation, or how to intervene in a safe way when you see someone in need. Snacks and light refreshments will be served.
