Join this panel discussion examining the intersections between disaster risk reduction, climate resilience, and a just transition. Our panelists work across areas of resilience, economic development, and urban planning. The discussion will address the need for a targeted focus on just transitions, as well as the added stresses it will place on issues relating to migration, gender-based violence, cities and more.

We will hold a reception before the panel, offering students an opportunity to network with the speakers, faculty, and like-minded peers.

Refreshments will be provided.

Our panelists are:

  • Karina Grosheva - Private Sector Development, Economic Development, Data & Innovation | UNDP
  • Alexandra (Lexi) Kirton - Climate Resilient Humanitarian Action Officer | Tetra Tech
  • Anna Friedman - Director, Policy & Programs | Resilient Cities Catalyst
