In the wake of Trump's election to a second term, this discussion with experts will consider the implications of far-right politics on Latinx communities.

Paola Ramos is a world-renowned journalist and the writer of Defectors, which explores how race, identity, and political trauma influenced the rise in far-right ideology among Latinxs and how this group can shape American politics.

Steven Renderos is the Executive Director of MediaJustice, a national racial justice organization that advances the media and technology rights of people of color.

The panel will also feature a staff member from Make the Road NY, which serves immigrant communities across the five boroughs and organizes to win policies that benefit millions from its three centers in Brooklyn, Queens, and Staten Island.
