General PublicJoin us for NYC 2025 Now—an opportunity to revisit the original policy proposals of NYU Wagner's NYC 2025 initiative. This discussion, convened by Elizabeth Glazer, founder of Vital City, and Steven M. Cohen, a founding member of Blue Raven LLP, will focus on New York City's history of addressing crime and how we can drive equitable reform.
From the remarkable crime declines of the 1990s to the challenges posed by the recent pandemic-induced surge in violence, we'll delve into key issues for our city’s future and try to synthesize what approaches, rooted in evidence, might feed civic engagement and a thriving city.
