The Displaced Migrants Action Group (DMAG) is planning to host a panel discussion on migrant experiences in New York City. More specifically, we hope to bring together academics, professionals, policymakers, and NGO workers to discuss how current policy in NYC (and the USA more broadly) impacts the lives of migrants in our city. Panelists may speak on the barriers to entry and integration for migrants in NYC and their understanding of the complexity of living in migrant shelters. If possible, speakers may talk about how the upcoming election may impact these issues.
