Join the Wagner Los Angeles Alumni Network for a regional "WagnerCares Day of Service" project with Reading to Kids! 

Reading to Kids is dedicated to inspiring underserved children with a love of reading. They coordinate reading clubs at elementary schools in downtown Los Angeles where volunteers read aloud to children and create arts and crafts projects about the stories. 

On Saturday, April 11, the Wagner LA alumni group will join the reading club at Gratts Elementary School (309 Lucas Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90017), from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. The alumni group will then have lunch at Plan Check, located nearby (111 Wilshire Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90017).

 

**Please note: Register to volunteer by visiting www.readingtokids.org (where you'll sign up and RSVP for Gratts). Spots open the afternoon of March 14 for the April 11 reading club—so please sign up ASAP since space is limited; this opportunity is open to the public.

We will check in with the LA alumni listserv to get a final head-count! We hope to see you next month!
