Each Tuesday, the Conflict, Security, and Development Series will examine new research, discuss creative policy approaches, and highlight recent innovations in responding to the challenges of security and development in conflict and post-conflict situations.

 

Charles Kenny, Senior Fellow and Director of Technology and Development at the Center for Global Development will discuss his new book, The Plague Cycleon the relationship between infection and human progress.  In this talk, he will focus on what the decline of infection has meant for global development over the past century as well as the impact of Covid-19 and lessons for the future.
