Olajumoke (Jumo) Ayandele, Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Center for the Study of Africa and the African Diaspora (CSAAD) and Non-Resident Fellow at the Center for Global Affairs at New York University, will discuss her recently published co-authored report, "African Wars in the 21st Century: Post-COVID-19 Emerging Trends, Challenges and Opportunities." The forward-looking report assesses the security and policy implications of the COVID-19 pandemic on the stability and prosperity of Africa, identifying current and emerging trends, as well as opportunities for local, state, and regional stakeholders in building a stable Africa in a post-COVID world.
