Join us for an enlightening panel discussion hosted by NYU Wagner x Urban Planning Student Association (UPSA), featuring the esteemed Karp Strategies. This event promises a deep dive into the consulting industry's role in urban planning, offering a fresh perspective for urban planners curious about this dynamic sector.

Karp Strategies, known for their innovative approach and collaborative spirit, is a powerhouse in bridging the gap between government and communities, driving meaningful change across urban landscapes. Wagner alumni Kyle and Alan, and operations leader Becca, will provide a comprehensive 30-40 minute presentation. This insightful session will include a brief overview of Karp Strategies, highlighting their mission, approach, and impactful projects. Furthermore, the team will discuss 2-3 prevailing trends in the field, such as community benefits agreements, negotiation tactics, and the strategic use of data in planning. Attendees will also get a glimpse into the day-to-day life of an Analyst/Associate at this vibrant consulting firm.
