As we approach the end of the year and process the 2024 Election results, it is important to take time to reflect and to prepare ourselves for the challenges ahead that we and our communities will face in 2025 and beyond. With that in mind, we invite you to please join ALAS in person for a special facilitated small group workshop designed to help us reflect on our unique roles in the social change ecosystem and build community together. Our “Workshop: Mapping Our Roles in the Social Change Ecosystem” event will introduce participants to a social justice leadership framework developed by Deepa Iyer of Building Movement Project; create space for attendees to collectively ground themselves in their commitment to equity, solidarity, and justice; and support students in developing a reflective practice for sustainable, resilient leadership. This workshop will take place in person on Friday, December 6 at 6 p.m. EST at the Wagner Building (105 East 17th Street), where we will have light food and beverages and will be raffling off spiral-bound hard copies of Deepa Iyer's "Social Change Now: A Guide for Reflection & Connection" workbook to event attendees.

This event is for NYU Wagner students only. Attendees must register with an NYU email address.
