Benjamin Heller is an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Public Service at NYU's Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service. He is also a senior program associate at the Vera Institute of Justice, where he uses budget analysis, qualitative research, legislative analysis, and advocacy to push for criminal legal reform in New York City and State. Before working at Vera, Benjamin worked with the Policing Project at New York University School of Law, the Police Executive Research Forum, the United Kingdom’s Restorative Justice Council, and London’s Metropolitan Police Service. Benjamin holds a Masters in Public Administration from NYU's Robert F. Wagner School of Public Service and a BA in political science from the University of Chicago.
