Jean earned a dual bachelor’s degree in Health Services Administration and Economics from Herbert H. Lehman College. As a Metropolitan Hospital intern, he contributed to an award-winning study on coagulation rate reduction using patient education technology and, as a Bloomberg LP intern, he designed the Global Accounts Payable Administrator role. In the wake of the 2010 Haiti earthquake, Jean co-led Haiti Aid Week, the official Lehman
College relief effort, and became a founding board member of HEAL Haiti, a nonprofit that provides nursing education and clinical treatment for diabetes, hypertension, pediatrics, and women’s health to over 7,000 Haitians.
While earning a Master of Public Administration in International Health Policy and Management from New York University Wagner School of Public Service, he led a team of research consultants in examining the policies, operations, and impact of Médecins du Monde’s gender-based violence programs in Central African Republic and Nigeria. His team analyzed data to provide technical reports and recommendations on improving programs and increasing revenue.
Currently, Jean teaches entrepreneurship and purpose discovery at High Schools, Colleges, and Community Based Organizations in addition to managing a consulting portfolio of over 70 clients. He is a mentor and speaker for Working in Support of Education (W!SE) and a member of the Gentlemen’s Factory.
