Michael West is Senior Director of Finance at the Bloomberg School of Public Health at Johns Hopkins University. He previously served as the Assistant Dean of Finance and Administration at NYU Wagner, and has also worked for the Faculty of Arts and Science and the Provost's Office at NYU, and as the Chief of Staff in the Business Office at Hunter College, which is part of the City University of New York.
Mike holds an M.P.A. in Nonprofit Management and Policy from NYU Wagner and an M.A. in Higher Education and Student Personnel Administration from the Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development at NYU. He has over 18 years of professional experience in higher education administration, focused on financial management. He is interested in not-for-profit fiscal decision-making and optimizing organizational effectiveness, as well as the development and management of human resources.
