Peter has extensive healthcare business experience and has held senior executive roles for several large healthcare companies. He recently held the role of Chief Financial Officer of Sevita Health, a leading national provider serving the needs of community-based services to adults and children with intellectual and developmental disabilities, brain and spinal cord injuries and other catastrophic injuries, and to youth with emotional, behavioral and medically complex challenges, as well as their families. As CFO, Peter was responsible for the Company’s corporate finance functions and helped direct the Company’s overall strategy, policy and growth plans. Prior to Sevita Health, Peter held senior level management roles at several leading healthcare companies including CFO of Fresenius Medical Care North America, the world’s largest kidney dialysis company focused on serving the needs of individuals with end-stage renal disease and CFO of Optum’s Complex Care Management, a national provider organization serving the needs of individuals receiving care through Medicare special needs plans and Medicare-Medicaid dual demonstrations. He has also held senior financial roles at UnitedHealth Group, Health Net, and MetLife. He earned the designation of Certified Public Accountant (currently inactive), and holds an MBA in Finance from New York University Stern School of Business and a B.S. in accounting from St. John’s University.
