CREATING A DIGITAL RESOURCE HUB TO SUPPORT EDUCATORS IN ACCESSING SEX EDUCATION RESOURCE

Asq Ash is a digital resource hub for sex education that enables high school educators to easily search for and utilize comprehensive, medically accurate, and inclusive resources on sexual health and wellness topics. The Capstone team designed Asq Ash to address the need shared by high school educators to have easy access to comprehensive, medically accurate, and culturally responsive sexual health and education resources. The team’s product is an online database of sourced sex education materials for educators to easily search by topic (e.g., pronouns, healthy relationships, or reproductive anatomy) and resource type (e.g., supplemental, curriculum, or educator training). The team’s solution provides a one-stop shop for educators to easily search, find, access, and use sex education materials that will better support their students.
