Development of a Strategic Plan Framework
The Capstone team was asked to prepare a framework for a two year strategic plan for Bronx AIDS Services (BAS), Inc., a not-for-profit HIV/AIDS service organization. In recent years the agencys scope of service scope has moved beyond its mandated mission in providing services to HIV/AIDS infected and affected persons. In responding to community needs, the agency is in need of a strategic plan in order to continue providing quality services to this population. In order to evaluate BASs needs, the Capstone team analyzed all BAS programs and services to establish their significance to the population it serves. In addition, the team examined all funding sources and revenue streams in order to maximize their financial viability and looked at marketing strategies to gauge BASs position in the Bronx community.
