Health Plus PHSP, Inc.

At Health Plus, one of New York City‘s largest managed care organizations, the resident worked on several organizationwide projects, including implementing a performance improvement program. The goal of the program is to develop a culture of continuous improvement to make operations more efficient, customer focused, and able to facilitate future growth. Initially a consulting team worked with two, eightperson teams. The process was internalized several months into the pilot projects and has since resulted in significant improvements. The resident provided operational support, assisted in the development of the training curriculum, and was a member of both project teams.
