The Information and Referral Center of Village Care
Village Care of New York is a community-based, not-for-profit service organization serving the elderly, persons living with AIDS, and individuals in need of medical and rehabilitation services. Village Care plans to open an Information and Referral center to provide a comfortable, non-medical setting, in which patrons can receive information about health related questions. The Capstone team pursued two goals. The first goal: develop a decision making tool to help the workers of the center provide the appropriate information and referrals to visitors of the center. A second goal was to raise awareness of the Information and Referral Center. The Capstone team developed a communications strategy designed by Philip Kotler that promotes the center through various advertising methods.
