Medical Centers: Manhattan, Brooklyn Extended Care Facility: Queens

The resident’s responsibilities and projects included: completing a series of rotations through the six main divisions of the organization; completing the IRB approval process to conduct a survey-based smallpox vaccination research study; participating in root cause analysis interdisciplinary teams to investigate adverse medical events; conducting a fiscal service quality assurance audit; assisting with the Endoscope Performance Improvement Committee; and participating in various measures for Joint Commission preparation throughout the organization.
