The American Jewish Committee (AJC) is an international think tank and advocacy organization that seeks to protect Jews and other minorities by promoting pluralism, democracy and human rights throughout the world. With concerns of continuity weighing heavily on the American Jewish community, the AJC initiated the ACCESS: New Generation program to engage young Jewish professionals in the work of the AJC and create a new cadre of Jewish leadership. The Capstone team conducted a comprehensive qualitative assessment of the ACCESS program’s first year of operation to a) determine whether ACCESS has made headway in achieving organizational goals; b) ascertain levels of participant involvement and satisfaction; c) evaluate whether participants’ responses are aligned with ACCESS’ expectations; and d) provide recommendations for the future of the ACCESS program and its evaluation over a two-year time frame.
