Sharmistha Chakrabarti

Sharmistha Chakrabarti (she/her) is a doctoral student at Robert F. Wagner School of Public Service and a fellow in the Institute of Education Sciences Predoctoral Interdisciplinary Research Training program. Prior to starting her PhD, she completed a B.A. in Economics from UC San Diego, followed by an M.A. in Economics from New York University. Her research interests involve educational inequality in regards to gender and racial minorities, LGBTQ+ populations, and low-income students.
