Regardless of additional educational experiences, applicants should have graduated from their undergraduate institutions within the last 2 to 4 years.

How is international Capstone different?

Most, but not all, international Capstone projects provide opportunity for travel abroad. If your Capstone client requires travel for fieldwork, Wagner will support you by paying for your airfare to your fieldwork destination.

You are eligible for a waiver if you have participated in one or more years of full-time service with the U.S.

I am a potential client. What is a project liaison? How much time should a project liaison expect to put towards a Capstone Team?

All Capstone clients must designate one person in their agency who will act as the project liaison and a back-up person in case of a change in circumstances that prevents the original liaison from continuing in the role.

Do I and my guests need tickets for Convocation and Commencement? How do I obtain them?

Guest Tickets for NYU Wagner Convocation can be requested online beginning mid-March. Eligible graduates can request up to four (4) guest tickets and apply for waitlist tickets. The venue's policy requires all guests to have a ticket, including infants and toddlers.

Do I have to take the TOEFL?

You must take TOEFL (or IELTS) if you did not receive a postsecondary degree from a program instructed exclusively in English.

Do I need to submit GRE/GMAT scores in order to apply to the Online MHA?

You are not required to submit GRE or GMAT scores, but it is recommended — especially if you have limited quantitative undergraduate coursework. Scores should be no more than five years old and should be transmitted directly from your testing agency.

Does NYU Wagner have a large selection of evening classes?

Most classes are held in the late afternoon/evening time slots with some school-wide core courses offered during the day. Some electives or sections of electives are offered on an intensive basis on Saturdays or Fridays.
