NYU Wagner Prof. Daniel L. Smith authors letter on municipal bond market proposal

On behalf of the Association for Budgeting & Financial Management (ABFM), and with the advice of its officers and several of its members, NYU Wagner Professor Daniel L. Smith wrote and submitted this letter to the Municipal Securities Rulemaking Board (MSRB) about its proposal to establish an academic data product. The proposal is generating press coverage and industry discussion.

ABFM, with more than 500 members, is dedicated to research on state and local government budgeting and financial management. Professor Smith is its Vice-Chair.
