NYU Recognizes Professor Jacob Faber with Make A Difference Award

NYU Wagner is thrilled to congratulate Associate Professor of Sociology and Public Service Jacob W. Faber for his recognition by New York University and President Andrew Hamilton for outstanding research and teaching efforts: Professor Faber has been named a 2020 recipient of the university’s Make A Difference award honoring individuals across the NYU community whose work tackles a critical problem, helps underserved populations, or breaks down barriers of misunderstanding and intolerance.

Dr. Faber focuses a critical, evidence-based lens on the effect of segregation on racial and economic disparities. He will be joined by other  Make A Difference honorees when the impact and distinctiveness of their work is highlighted at the awards ceremony on Friday, Oct. 30, at 12:30 p.m.
