Prof. Maloney named Secretary of European network on cultural management and policy

The recently elected Board of Directors of ENCATC, the leading European network on cultural management and policy, gathered for the first time on Dec. 1, and at this meeting, in Brussels, NYU Wagner Affiliated Professor Richard Maloney was appointed as Secretary.

The European network on cultural and management policy is cultural organizations in over 40 countries. ENCATC was founded in 1992 to represent, advocate and promote cultural management and cultural policy education, professionalize the cultural sector to make it sustainable, and create a platform for discussion and exchange at the European and international level. ENCATC is co-funded by the Creative Europe program of the European Union.

Professor Maloney, PhD, teaches courses in managing performing arts organizations and cultural policy.
