Milan has devoted her career to public service and advancing urban policy. She currently serves as a Senior Advisor in the Office of the New York City Deputy Mayor for Health and Human Services. In this role, she supports the City’s health portfolio, leading strategic initiatives and public health efforts.
Prior to working at City Hall, Milan managed early childhood education policy and operations for New York City Public Schools. She is a former Teach for America corps member, educator and school leader. Milan holds a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Virginia and a Master in Public Affairs from Princeton University. She is a proud Harlemite, and previously served on Community Board 10.
