The resident was involved in many ongoing and new projects within the Planning and Business Initiatives Department. A comprehensive faculty recruitment process was developed by the office and is now in transition to an online, interactive web-based application. The resident managed financial plan development and reviewan integral aspect of the recruitment process. The resident also worked on the development of transforming the current financial plan process to a comprehensive, interactive, online financial plan. Collaborating with the Planning and the Information Technology departments, the resident helped to establish flow processes, designs, layouts, and operations of the online financial plan. The residents other projects included developing strategic recruitment checkbooks to manage recruitment funds and maintaining and updating a 10-year plan outlining recruitment efforts and costs to the School of Medicine. The resident also worked on developing detailed financial plans for high-level recruits.
