NYU Wagner Professor Named to NYC Health & Hospitals Board

Gordon J. Campbell

New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio announced on April 7 the appointment of NYU Wagner’s Gordon J. Campbell to the Board of Directors of the city's Health and Hospitals Corporation (HHC), and recommended the Board elect Campbell as its Vice Chairperson.

Professor Campbell serves as a Professor of Practice at NYU Wagner and directs the school’s Executive MPA program.

He brings, as the Mayor recounted, over 30 years of public and nonprofit managerial experience to HHC and most recently served as Chair of the city's Board of Correction.

Mayor de  Blasio also announced the appointment of highly seasoned public-service executive Stanley Brezenoff to the Board of Correction chairmanship.

“Stan and Gordon have proven their commitment to the people of this city time and time again, and I’m confident today’s appointments will help strengthen the leadership of these two essential organizations,” the Mayor said.
