Aaron Bekemeyer Joins NYU Wagner Faculty
Aaron Bekemeyer has joined the NYU Wagner faculty as a clinical assistant professor of public service and history and the director of the undergraduate public policy major.
Bekemeyer, who joins Wagner after serving as a lecturer in modern U.S. history at Harvard University, will teach on labor, policing, politics, and policy in modern U.S. history. He has also had his work featured in The Washington Post and has appeared on the NPR history podcast Throughline and in the Netflix documentary POWER, which examines the history of policing in America.
Bekemeyer holds a PhD in history from Harvard University, an MA from the Université de Paris 1 (Panthéon-Sorbonne), and a BA from the University of Michigan.
