NYU Wagner Rises in U.S. News & World Report Rankings

The just-released U.S. News & World Report rankings of 269 public affairs and administration master’s programs around the provides welcome confirmation that NYU Wagner is in the nation’s top ten overall, and far ahead of all of its New York City peer schools.

NYU Wagner’s national ranking has risen to #10—up two notches from 2022.

In specialty areas, Wagner is #1 in Urban Policy, #4 in Health Policy & Management, #7 in Public Finance & Budgeting, #7 in Social Policy, #8 in Nonprofit Management, # 9 in International/Global Policy Administration, #12 in Public Policy Analysis, and #18 in Local Government Management.

As the 2023 rankings reflect, NYU Wagner is one of the leading graduate schools of public service in the nation and trending upward, with highly skilled graduates increasingly in demand in the public, nonprofit, and private sectors.
