I am a new student and I work full-time at a position that’s relevant to my degree program, but I was not waived from PER. Can I appeal this decision?

In order to fulfill the NYU Wagner professional experience requirement prior to enrollment, students must enter the program with at least two years of full-time, degree-relevant professional experience. If you believe that your professional background meets this requirement, you can submit a PER Waiver request by following the instructions on this page. The NYU Wagner Office of Career Services staff will review the request and contact you within twelve business days.

PLEASE NOTE: You must submit a PER Wavier request within your first semester at NYU Wagner. Requests submitted after the first semester will not be considered. Incomplete forms will substantially delay response time.
