New York has no shortage of entertainment and recreation. The Village Voice and the City Guide are great free in-city resources.
The Research Capstone is designed for students who know they want to pursue a career in quantitative research, most of whom expect to go on to pursue a Ph.D. Students still work in teams in the Research Capstone section; the primary difference from other Capstone sections is that teams don't have a formal outside client.
MPA and MUP students are required to choose their specialization during the semester in which they complete their 12th credit. For full-time students, this is their first semester and for part-time students, it is usually their second semester.
Course waivers based on prior coursework can take 4-6 weeks to receive results. Depending on how confident you are that your waiver will be approved and how many seats are left in your preferred section of the course you are trying to waive, you should consider registering for a seat in your preferred section, especially if that course is on the
Yes! Students taking 3-4.5 credits in the summer term qualify for half-time equivalency and should submit the Request for Equivalency once their summer schedule is finalized.
The changes will be implemented for all master’s programs at Wagner (MUP; MPA PNP, Health, Executive) as well as the Non-Degree and Advanced Certificate programs. The doctoral program will remain on a 4-credit system.

An independent reading must be approved and supervised by a Wagner full-time faculty member. Be sure to read the detailed information on the steps to enroll in an independent reading.
Whether you live on or off campus, are here for the summer, or are living in faculty housing, you will find yourself living "in and of" New York City. Manhattan's vibrant Greenwich Village neighborhood is home to many of NYU's campus buildings.
Your graduation will not be delayed by the conversion. Current students will be required to complete the same number of courses as previously required.
