When are courses held?

A majority of courses at Wagner meet in the evening, beginning at 5pm, and meet in person. We offer select courses during the day, on Saturdays, and online.

U.S. News & World Report rankings of 275 public affairs and administration master’s programs across the country place NYU Wagner once again in the Top 10 overall—and far ahead of all of its New York City peer schools.

What student groups can I join at Wagner?

NYU Wagner student organizations provide diverse social, educational, and professional opportunities for students. They operate under the umbrella of the Wagner Student Association (WSA), the representative body for students.



Are merit-based scholarships available?

Yes, the program has limited fellowship and scholarship resources.  Around 20% of the incoming class will receive merit-based aid. We assess all applications for merit-based scholarships. Our fellowships do require a separate essay in the application. Learn more on our financial aid page.
