Do I need to submit an English language proficiency test score?

If your undergraduate or graduate degree was taught entirely in English, you are not required to submit a TOEFL, IELTS, or Duolingo English Test score.

However, if your degree was not taught in English, you must demonstrate English language proficiency in one of the following ways:

Do I need to provide a translation of my non-English transcript?

You are required to submit both the official transcript and its English translation. If the institution you attend/attended does not provide an English translation with the official transcript, you must obtain a certified English translation before submitting your application.

How can I apply for a Fellowship?

We review applications to be considered for our Named Fellowship programs each Fall for applicants starting in the subsequent Fall semester only. Applicants must submit by the Early Action deadline to be eligible for a Named Fellowship. 

Does NYU Wagner have a large selection of evening courses?

Yes, the majority of our classes are held in the evening to accommodate working professionals, with most beginning at either 4:55 PM or 6:45 PM. Some core courses are also offered during the day. Additionally, select electives or elective sections may be offered on an intensive basis on Fridays or Saturdays.

What are the application requirements?

Application requirements vary by degree program but generally include an online application, essays, resume, transcripts, and letters of recommendation. Some programs may also require standardized test scores or additional essays.

Can I enroll in more than one program at the same time?

Students may not enroll in more than one academic program simultaneously unless both programs are part of a New York State–registered dual degree program. This policy applies whether the additional program is another NYU Wagner program, a program at another NYU school, or a program at an external institution.
