The admissions review at NYU Wagner is conducted on a modified rolling basis. Each deadline has a specific notification date. Once an application is completed, it will be forwarded to the Admissions Committee for review. An application is considered complete and ready for review when all required materials are received in the admissions office.
Whether you live on or off campus, are here for the summer, or are living in faculty housing, you will find yourself living "in and of" New York City. Manhattan's vibrant Greenwich Village neighborhood is home to many of NYU's campus buildings.

Wagner does not recommend that full-time students work in their first semester. Rather, it is advisable to focus on adapting to the new setting of graduate school; also, core courses are a significant time commitment, requiring additional recitation/lab sections in addition to coursework. Once full-time students enter their second semester, most will work part-time.
Interviews are only requested for those who are fellowship finalists, as well as EMPA and dual-degree candidates, at the request of the review committee.
For admissions purposes we do not require financial statements. If and when you are admitted, NYU's Office of Global Services will follow up with further instructions to clarify the process.
Yes, any additional materials sent to the admissions office (email: wagner.admissions@nyu.edu) will be included in your application file. However, they are neither necessary nor expected.
