MPA in Public and Nonprofit Management and Policy
Capstone
Required of all MPA and MUP students, the Capstone Program is part of Wagner's clinical initiative and provides students with a year long consulting or research project to resolve a problem or conduct an analysis for a public service organization. Students must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 to be considered ready to take Capstone. Specific Capstone prerequisites can be found on the PNP program checksheets or at the Capstone course links below.
Information sessions in the spring provide students more details on registering for a Capstone course and undertaking the Capstone project. Public and Nonprofit Management and Policy students typically choose one of the following Capstone courses:
