Preparing for TECHNOLOGY-ENHANDED Teaching:

Whether you're teaching in-person or remotely, there are specific enhancements to make to your course. Sign up for a 1:1 consultation with Henrie Paz-Amor, our instructional technologist, who will help you think through the best approach for your course. In addition, participate in our workshops.

The following Instructional Technology tools and services are available at NYU. Learn about the functionality and training options for each service via the links below:

  • NYU Brightspace

  • Google Apps for Education, including NYU Chat/Hangouts, which allows instant messaging and group video calls, and Google Forms (surveys)

  • Instructional Video Modules at the Digital Studio (facilities located in the Bobst Digital Studio to create high-quality recordings)

  • NYU Stream, which provides users with the ability to upload, record via webcam, manage, and share video clips

  • Web Publishing, powered by WordPress, which provides an easy way for faculty, staff, and students to create a website or blog

  • Data Services, a joint service of NYU's Division of Libraries and Information Technology Services to support quantitative, qualitative, and geographical research at NYU
  • Use your Zoom Pro account to invite a guest speaker or hold class remotely. This page describes the services and resources that NYU offers in the event that you need to teach a class remotely due to inclement weather conditions
  • Kaltura Capture, which enables faculty to record a lecture or webinar, post it to NYU Stream, and share it via NYU Brightspace

Tech Savvy is a series of brief, fully online learning modules that can help you use a number of NYU technology tools and services in new ways to work more efficiently, effectively, or creatively.

MPA, International Development Policy and Management Specialization-MA, International Relations

To address the complex, pressing international affairs issues of our time, you’ll need an education that lives at the nexus of international development and international relations. At NYU, you can earn both an MPA with an International Development Policy and Management specialization and an MA in International Relations in just two years of full-time study. You’ll gain practical policy, management, and analysis skills and perspectives from a professional degree while also building a deeper and comprehensive understanding of international relations and politics.
