NYU's Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service prepares public service leaders to translate ideas into actions that have an effective and lasting impact on the public good. Our faculty’s research changes the way people frame, understand, and act on important public issues. We provide our students with critical skills, access to all that New York City has to offer, and a deep understanding of context surrounding public service challenges—which they use to improve cities and communities across the globe. Since 1938, NYU Wagner has been educating the world’s future public service leaders. We offer a Master of Public Administration in Public & Nonprofit Management & Policy, Master of Public Administration in Health Policy & Management, Master of Urban Planning, Master of Health Administration, Master of Science in Public Policy, Executive Master of Public Administration, and PhD in Public Administration.

About UMD

The Social Data Science Center (SoDa) at the University of Maryland (UMD) was established by the College of Information Studies and the College of Behavioral and Social Sciences.  SoDa brings together a multidisciplinary community of researchers who develop and work with social and behavioral data to support research projects addressing complex questions within their fields. The unique challenges of ethically working with social and behavioral data at ever increasing scales, broader scope, and for novel purposes can only be effectively done by a multidisciplinary community of researchers who are able to draw on and contribute to basic research in a variety of domains.  UMD is uniquely positioned to make these advances and realize this potential.  Benefitting from the use of modern data analysis and management techniques, as well as knowledge of data and measurement quality, the application of social data and measurement in collaborative efforts leverages UMD’s strengths in survey methodology, measurement, information and data management, visualization, and analytics.
