Bora Lee is the Executive Administrator at Korean Community Services of Metropolitan New York (KCS). In her role, she supports the President and Executive Director in overall administrative duties, strategic planning, fundraising, and HR; she serves as liaison to the Board of Directors, represents the organization in coalition meetings, and manages special projects. Founded in 1973 as New York’s first community-based multi-social service organization focused on the Korean community, KCS provides various services in the areas of aging, youth, immigration, public health and mental health. Prior to KCS, Bora oversaw fundraising efforts and was a VISTA Leader at the Coalition for Asian American Children and Families (CACF). She also assisted with fundraising and communications efforts at MinKwon Center for Community Action as an AmeriCorps VISTA, dedicating a total of two years to national service. Bora served as Co-chair of Immigration Advancement Matters’ Emerging Leaders Council and is an alumni of the Charles C. Khym Leadership Program. She is currently in her third semester at Wagner where she is studying as a part-time Management student in the MPA Public and Nonprofit Management and Policy program. She received her BA in Sociology and Urban Studies at CUNY Queens College.
