Esthela Lopez is a part-time Management student in the MPA Public and Nonprofit Management program ready to graduate in May 2017. Esthela currently works at iMentor where she manages their corporate portfolio and helps further the organization’s mission of building mentoring relationships that empower students from low-income communities to graduate high school, succeed in college, and achieve their ambitions. She recently completed the Visiting Fellows program at Education Pioneers over the summer. Esthela aspires to continue working with low-income students of color and creating pathways for education and economic success. At Wagner, Esthela is a current Social Sector Leadership Diversity Fellow, a leadership development program that equips graduate students of color with the resources needed to take up leadership roles in organizations across the social sector. She’s also a member of the NYU Wagner Gala Committee, where she’s excited to plan the best end-of-year celebration for all students to enjoy. Hailing from sunny Southern California, she loves traveling, eating good food, and enjoying the sunshine. Esthela received her B.A in social public policy from New York University.
